Samsung has just continued to expand the list of devices receiving the November 2025 security patch, this time with two low-cost and mid-range models, including the Galaxy M23 5G and Galaxy A13 5G. Both are no longer on the One UI 8 upgrade roadmap, so the new update is still based on Android 14.

The Galaxy M23 5G, also known as the Galaxy Buddy 2 in Korea, has received the November patch with firmware code M236LKSSCEYK1. The device still retains Android 14, the last OS version of this product line.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A13 5G has also started receiving the update in the Philippines, with firmware A136BXXSDDYK2. Similar to the M23 5G, this device has also stopped upgrading the OS, so the update only focuses on security without new features.

According to the technical documentation, the November patch addresses 45 vulnerabilities discovered by Samsung, Google, and partners. These are important fixes that will help older devices continue to operate more stably and securely.

In addition to the two models mentioned above, Samsung has previously released the November patch for many other popular devices, such as the Galaxy A34, A36, A06 5G, and A17 5G. It is expected that in the near future, high-end models such as the Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will start receiving the November update based on One UI 8.

If you are using one of these devices, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check manually. Once the patch has finished downloading, tap Install now to reboot your device and apply the November update.
