Now, a new leak suggests the answer for the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE is coming into focus.

According to reliable industry tipster Erencan Yılmaz, who has recently shared a track record of details regarding upcoming Galaxy processors, the Galaxy S26 FE will likely continue to utilize an Exynos chipset.

This development comes as no surprise to industry watchers. The upcoming Galaxy S25 FE is rumored to feature the Exynos 2400, following in the footsteps of the Galaxy S24 FE, which launched with the Exynos 2400e. In fact, the last time Samsung equipped a Fan Edition (FE) model with a Snapdragon processor was the Galaxy S23 FE, and that was limited primarily to the US market.

It is worth noting that the current leak does not definitively rule out a Snapdragon variant; it simply omits any mention of one. Given Samsung’s recent trajectory, an Exynos-exclusive model is highly plausible, though a split-chipset strategy for different global regions cannot be entirely discounted.

If the rumors hold true, the most likely candidate for the Galaxy S26 FE is the Exynos 2500, a processor also expected to debut in the Galaxy Z Flip7. Meanwhile, the next-generation Exynos 2600 will presumably be reserved for the flagship Galaxy S26 series in select international markets.
