Samsung is finally rolling out the February 2026 security patch to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, bringing the premium wearable up to speed with the rest of the Galaxy Watch lineup.
While the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 7, and Watch 6 received the update earlier this month, the Watch Ultra had surprisingly been left waiting. This latest rollout ensures Samsung's top-tier smartwatch is now fully synchronized with its siblings in terms of security.
According to the official changelog, the update addresses 37 system vulnerabilities while delivering general stability improvements. Samsung notes that the device's overall performance and operational behavior have been optimized.
The firmware update, carrying the build number L705FXXU3BZB4, is currently making its debut in India. It requires a download of approximately 432.87 MB. Given Samsung's typical rollout patterns, users in other global markets can expect the patch to arrive shortly.
To check for the update, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected smartphone, navigate to Watch settings > Watch software update, and tap Download and install.
Looking ahead, Samsung has already detailed the contents of the March 2026 security patch, though the actual rollout has yet to begin. The company traditionally prioritizes smartphones and tablets before pushing updates to wearables, meaning Galaxy Watch Ultra owners will likely have to wait a bit longer for their next security boost.
