Samsung is continuing to expand the reach of its January 2026 security patch to more Galaxy devices. Following the recent updates for the Galaxy A55 and A34, the tech giant has now released the latest firmware for the Galaxy M53 and A06 4G, focusing primarily on system stability and enhanced security.
In South Korea, the Galaxy M53 (marketed locally as the Galaxy Quantum 3) has begun receiving the update with firmware version M536SKSSCGYL1. While this particular build does not introduce new features, it addresses 55 specific security vulnerabilities found within the Android OS and Samsung’s own software components.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A06 4G is also picking up the January 2026 patch with firmware version A065FXXS9CZA1. The rollout is currently active in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and select other markets, with a broader expansion expected in the coming days.
These devices join a growing list of Galaxy models running the January 2026 patch, including the Galaxy A34, A55, the innovative Z TriFold, the Galaxy S25 series, and the Z Fold 7. In parallel, Samsung is actively testing One UI 8.5, with numerous eligible devices already spotted on the company’s test servers.
Users owning a Galaxy M53 or A06 4G can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. As always, ensure your device has sufficient battery life and is not overheating to guarantee a smooth installation process.
