After a few days of sudden suspension, Samsung has resumed the release of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 FE, and Galaxy S23 series. Currently, users in Korea have started receiving the new update with the October 2025 security patch, showing that Samsung has quickly addressed the bugs arising from the previous version.

According to information shared on social network X (Twitter), the Galaxy S24 series, including the S24 FE, is receiving the update with the code CYJ3, while the Galaxy S23 series receives the build EYJ7. Both versions integrate the latest security patch, helping the system operate more stably and fix minor bugs reported by users in the early stages of One UI 8 deployment.

Notably, the suspension of deployment is not global. Some regions, especially in Europe and India, have continued to receive regular updates throughout the past few years. Therefore, it is likely that this new build is just a tweaked version for the Korean market before Samsung expands the release to other regions.

Galaxy S23 and S24 users who are using One UI 8 should check Settings > Software update > Download and install to get the latest update. With this quick move, Samsung shows that it is maintaining its commitment to stabilizing the software for its flagship line, ensuring a smoother and safer experience for users while waiting for One UI 8.5 to launch.
