Samsung has confirmed that the stable One UI 7.0 update will be released in April 2025, with the Galaxy S24 series that is likely to be in the first device group to receive this large upgrade. However, before the user gets a stable version, Samsung seems to be planning to launch another beta - Beta 5. This goes against some previous rumors that the Beta program can end after the beta 4 version.
A clear sign that One UI 7.0 Beta 5 is being tested is the appearance of a new edition for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to information shared by @KEepupwithoneui, this number of construction is S928BXXU4zyc4, showing that Samsung is still continuing to optimize the software before releasing the official version.
Samsung launched the Beta One UI 7.0 program for the Galaxy S24 line in December last year, and since then, the company has released a total of four large beta versions along with two hotfix updates. Beta 4 was released at the end of February, but it seems that there are still some important errors to overcome, causing the company to decide to launch an additional Beta 5 this month before officially releasing a stable version.
The good news for Galaxy S24 users is the time to wait for the One UI 7.0 stable update will not be long, because Samsung has confirmed that this update will be released next month. Meanwhile, the company has also expanded the beta program for other devices such as Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, with plans to add the Galaxy Tab S10, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy A55 to the test list in the future.
Users in markets such as the US, UK, India, and South Korea can register to participate in the One UI 7.0 Beta test through the Samsung Member app. Meanwhile, users in other areas will have to wait until the official update is released or can experience the new interface early through the Samsung Try Galaxy application.
