Samsung has officially completed the One UI 8 rollout for all eligible devices. The last model on the list, the Galaxy Tab A9+, has started receiving the update based on Android 16, paving the way for the One UI 8.5 beta phase that is expected to start next month.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ is the last device to be upgraded to One UI 8. Samsung has started the rollout in Europe for the Wi-Fi model with model number X210RXXU4BYKG, while the LTE version will be released soon. The standard Galaxy Tab A9 has already completed the update, and both models are expected to receive One UI 8 globally in the coming days.

The update brings a number of notable changes, including a new clock style, a revamped Weather app, and a redesigned Quick Share interface. One UI 8 also adds a 90:10 multitasking ratio, improved transition effects, and optimized system stability for a smoother and more intuitive experience. With the Galaxy Tab A9+ joining the list, the One UI 8 rollout has officially come to an end.

Meanwhile, Samsung is gradually shifting its focus to One UI 8.5. A test version for the Galaxy S25 series has appeared on test servers in many regions, suggesting that the beta program may soon launch. The Galaxy Tab A9+ is also expected to be on the list of devices supporting One UI 8.5 next year, although Samsung has yet to make an official confirmation.

If you are using a Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab A9+ in Europe, you can check for and update to One UI 8 by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download is complete, select Install now to reboot your device and apply the new version.
