Samsung has just officially announced the One UI 8 Beta testing program and released the first update for the Galaxy S25 series. This update not only improves performance but also introduces many notable new features, notably upgraded Galaxy AI, enhanced security and privacy, easier data sharing, and better support for the Auracast audio playback feature.

One UI 8 focuses on three main improvements in Galaxy AI: intelligent multi-modal capabilities, optimized user experience for multiple types of devices, and personalized, proactive recommendations based on usage habits.

Now Bar and Now Brief are two new AI features that help provide suggestions and information more relevant to user needs. Now Bar integrates with Android 16's Live Updates feature, promising to support more third-party applications in the future.

Samsung also enhances privacy and security through Knox Vault, a secure processor and memory combination that isolates sensitive data from the rest of the system. Users can choose to allow AI data processing directly on the device to ensure privacy.

In addition, One UI 8 also supports Bluetooth LE Auracast audio connection by scanning or sharing a QR code, allowing multiple audio devices such as Galaxy Buds 3 or hearing aids to connect without manual setup.

The Samsung Reminder app has also been redesigned with a simpler, easier-to-use interface. Users can share to-do lists with just one button and create voice reminders when their hands are full.

Samsung also enhances the after-sales experience by allowing quick information registration at the warranty center via NFC or QR code, saving time filling out forms.

Finally, the Quick Share feature is improved with two separate tabs, Send and Receive, making file sharing easier to understand, especially for new users.
