Samsung has just released One UI 8 Beta 6 for the Galaxy S25 series, bringing with it notable AI features that first appeared on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. Now, S25 users can experience Call Captions, Now Brief reading aloud, and Audio Eraser right in the Gallery app.

The One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra was opened before the new Galaxy Z duo launched. However, in the early betas, many AI features were still missing. By Beta 6, Samsung has officially added these tools, signaling that the stable version will be released soon in September.

Call Captions brings live captions to calls, which is helpful for users in noisy environments or those with hearing difficulties. Now Brief reads aloud to let you hear news summaries and updates without looking at the screen. Samsung is even testing a “skip” button to quickly move to the next section.

Meanwhile, Audio Eraser is integrated directly into the Gallery app, rather than just in the video editor. When watching a video, users can tap a button to remove background noise, cleaning up the audio in just a few seconds.

The presence of these features suggests that Samsung is ready to move towards the official release of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 globally. The beta program is currently limited to a few markets, but with Beta 6 already out, it’s likely that the stable version will be available to users in just a few weeks.
