Samsung has just officially released One UI 8 (Android 16) for the Galaxy S25 Edge, although this model did not participate in the beta testing program before. This is considered a pleasant surprise for users of the thin and light version of the Galaxy S25 series.
In May, Samsung opened the One UI 8 Beta program for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models, but not the S25 Edge. The reason is said to be that this model is newly launched, and Samsung rarely puts "exceptional" versions like the Edge or Fan Edition into the testing phase.
However, along with releasing the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series in Korea, Samsung also released it for the Galaxy S25 Edge. The update has a capacity of 3.44GB, with firmware number S937NKSU2BYI3, along with many new features of Android 16 and a series of improvements from Samsung.

As usual, after releasing in Korea, Samsung will roll out this update to other markets in just a few days. Users outside of Korea can soon experience One UI 8 on the S25 Edge this week.
To check, just go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update is available, download and restart your device to experience One UI 8 with a more complete interface and features.
