Samsung has officially rolled out its March 2026 security patch for Galaxy devices, with the flagship Galaxy S25 series being the first in line. The latest update delivers over 60 crucial security fixes, addressing vulnerabilities across both the core Android OS and Samsung's proprietary One UI components.
The rollout is currently debuting in South Korea, covering the entire lineup: the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, and the S25 FE.
Users will see firmware version BZC1 for the standard, Plus, Ultra, and Edge models, while the Fan Edition (FE) receives version AZC1. While exact download sizes vary by device, most users can expect an update exceeding the 500MB mark.
Notably, this patch is currently unavailable for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra devices enrolled in the One UI 8.5 Beta program. For these beta testers, Samsung is likely to bundle the March security fixes into the next beta release or integrate them directly into the stable One UI 8.5 launch. Conversely, because the Galaxy S25 FE and S25 Edge are not part of the current beta track, they are receiving the patch on the standard update schedule.
Although Samsung has yet to confirm a release date for the stable version of One UI 8.5, the update is expected to expand globally by the end of this month or early next. A wider rollout of One UI 8.5 could kick off as early as late April 2026.
