The Galaxy S25 series has already gone through several One UI 8 beta updates, but testing is far from over. A new report suggests that Samsung is about to release One UI 8 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S25, as it was recently spotted on its internal servers.
According to update tracker Tarun Vats, the new build with the build number S938BXXU5ZYH5 suggests that Samsung is preparing the fifth beta round. This will likely be the final test build to iron out any remaining bugs before the official release.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 will receive the stable One UI 8 update in September, but has not revealed a specific date. The update is likely to arrive in the middle or end of the month. If a new beta is released, it is expected to arrive this month.
In parallel, Samsung will also release the One UI 8 Beta for the Galaxy S24 series, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 duo this week, as planned for the period from August 11. Users in Korea will usually receive the update first, then expand to other markets. However, Samsung sometimes rolls out the update simultaneously globally.
Galaxy S25 users should keep a close eye on the update announcements because if all goes well in the final beta, the stable One UI 8 version may be released widely soon.
