Samsung is accelerating its March 2026 security rollout for premium devices, with the latest firmware now reaching Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 users in South Korea. The move follows a similar patch released for the Galaxy S25 series earlier today.
The update arrives with firmware version F766NKSS8AZC1 for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, while the Z Fold 7 receives version F966NKSS8AZC1. Both updates weigh in at just over 500MB.
According to the official changelog, this release strictly delivers the March 2026 security patch, addressing 67 known vulnerabilities across Android and Samsung's One UI. Users should not expect any new features or performance tweaks in this specific package.
South Korean owners can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. A quick reboot is required to complete the installation process, which typically takes a few minutes.
Following Samsung's familiar rollout strategy, the update is expected to expand to other international markets in the coming days.
Meanwhile, foldable owners are still eagerly awaiting the stable release of One UI 8.5, which promises further interface refinements and new features. With the One UI 8.5 Beta program already live for both the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, a stable public release is likely just weeks away.
