Samsung has just announced the details of its June 2025 security update, as scheduled. The new patch will be rolled out to eligible Galaxy devices in the coming days. As usual, this month's update continues to focus on addressing critical vulnerabilities to enhance user protection.
Samsung's monthly security patches not only address bugs in its internal software but also include patches provided by Google for the Android operating system, helping to plug security holes across the entire mobile platform.
Your Galaxy device is more secure with the new patch
Samsung has addressed a total of 19 vulnerabilities in its software through this month's patch. Some of the notable vulnerabilities include a bug that allows attackers to access Samsung Cloud data on the Galaxy Watch, a bug that allows remote screenshots on the watch, as well as a bug that makes the device discoverable via Bluetooth without the user's permission.
In addition, many high-risk vulnerabilities on the Android platform are also fixed in this update. Google did not record any vulnerabilities at the severe or moderate level in the June 2025 patch, but the vulnerabilities addressed are still essential for overall security. In addition, some patches from Samsung Semiconductor are also integrated into this update.
Samsung currently maintains dedicated teams to find and handle security vulnerabilities. Many bugs are also responsibly disclosed by external cybersecurity experts. Notably, Samsung is willing to pay a reward of up to $ 1 million to encourage researchers to promptly detect and report potential vulnerabilities before they are exploited to attack users.
