
Samsung has officially released the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy A53 5G in the Korean market, marking the start of the next major software upgrade for this best-selling mid-range phone.
According to the record, the update has a firmware code ending in GYI2 and has a capacity of more than 2GB. The new version not only improves overall performance but also brings a more intuitive, streamlined interface and a series of improvements in core applications such as Calendar, Clock, Camera, and Samsung Internet Browser. Users can download it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install, then select Install now to complete the upgrade process.
One UI 8.0 focuses on improving the daily user experience, optimizing background activities, and adding many smart features to help the device run more smoothly. Some minor changes in images and transition effects also make the overall interface more modern and seamless.
Samsung is expected to expand the update for Galaxy A53 to many other regions in the near future, including Vietnam. At the same time, the company is also in the process of completing One UI 8.5, the next upgrade that promises to bring many innovations in design and deeper AI integration.
