Samsung is rolling out its February 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, following earlier releases for its newer handset lineups. However, the rollout is currently limited to select markets.

The tech giant's home market of South Korea is the first to receive the update. Assuming no software bugs are detected, a broader global release is expected in the coming days.

Weighing in at approximately 441.78MB, the new firmware (version S91*NKSS7EZB2) remains based on One UI 8. Samsung has yet to officially launch the highly anticipated One UI 8.5 for the S24 series.

Security-wise, the February update addresses 37 known vulnerabilities across the Android ecosystem. This includes 25 high-severity flaws within the core Android OS, alongside 12 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) specific to Galaxy firmware.

Samsung strongly advises users to install the update promptly to ensure data security and maintain optimal system stability.

If you own a Galaxy S24 in South Korea, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once downloaded, tap "Install now" and allow the device a few minutes to restart and complete the process.
