Samsung appears ready to refresh its smartphone lineup sooner than expected. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the tech giant is poised to unveil the Galaxy A07 5G as early as late January. Following closely, the mid-range Galaxy A37 and A57 are slated for a debut in the first or second week of February.
The Galaxy A07 5G is shaping up to be a significant release, expected to claim the title of Samsung’s most affordable 5G handset. This follows the release of the LTE variant in August 2025. Sources suggest the 5G model will not only offer faster connectivity but also feature a larger battery and a distinct processor, aiming to deliver a more stable experience for the entry-level market.
The timing for the A37 and A57 is particularly interesting, as it places their launch just ahead of the flagship Galaxy S26 series, which is rumored for a late February reveal and a March retail release. This strategy suggests Samsung is looking to simultaneously revitalize its portfolio across both mid-range and premium segments.
On the software front, all three Galaxy A models are expected to ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16, continuing Samsung's impressive commitment to six years of OS and security updates.
However, US availability for the Galaxy A57 remains uncertain. Historically, Samsung has been hesitant with its "A5x" series in the States; the A55 was never officially sold there, and the A56 saw a delayed release. Analysts believe this caution with the A57 is likely a strategic move to avoid cannibalizing sales of the standard Galaxy S26, despite the clear price and demographic differences between the two lines.
