Samsung releases video revealing “all-new” One UI 7, reminds users to be ready for the update

Samsung has just teased the all-new One UI 7 update, along with the message “Get ready for One UI 7” to Galaxy users through an attractive promotional video. Although Samsung USA has recently quietly deleted the official announcement post about the One UI 7 launch date in the US, other markets are still on schedule, expected to release on April 7.

Normally, Samsung will roll out new One UI updates around October or November each year, around the same time Google releases a new version of Android. However, One UI 7 based on Android 15 has been delayed for months – while Google is already preparing to launch Android 16. Barring any further issues, One UI 7 will likely be officially rolled out on April 7 globally and April 10 in the US.

One UI 7 is equipped with a series of powerful improvements by Samsung, especially the appearance of a personalized AI companion for Galaxy devices. This AI system will automatically learn the user's habits and preferences to optimize the user experience, from searching for restaurants, editing photos, to other daily operations using natural language. Samsung is committed to protecting users' privacy at all times during use.

The Now Brief feature on One UI 7 brings a smarter AI experience, personalizing daily interactions smoothly. Now Brief not only learns from user behavior but also automatically consolidates frequently accessed information, displaying it visually on the lock screen for users to easily follow.

In addition, Google Gemini is now integrated into the power button, providing superior natural voice response capabilities. Users can use voice commands to perform tasks such as searching for photos, editing content, or adjusting settings quickly and conveniently. AI also supports advanced photo editing with Generative Edit and Sketch to Image features, allowing users to remove or add objects to photos accurately and naturally.

Samsung affirms that user privacy is always a top priority. All personal data is securely protected and not shared outside when using the new AI features of One UI 7. Hopefully, this update will reach users on schedule.
