Samsung continues to expand the list of devices that will be updated to Android 16 with the One UI 8 interface, including mid-range phones. Recently, the next two names discovered to be in the process of testing One UI 8 are the Galaxy M33 and Galaxy F15.

Specifically, according to a source from Mohammed Khatri on the X platform, Samsung has put the One UI 8 test version on the internal server for the Galaxy F15 and Galaxy M33. In India, the Galaxy F15 is the first device in the F-series segment to start receiving this test version. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M33 is being tested in more markets, including India, Europe, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka - where this device is officially sold.

The firmware codename for the Galaxy F15 is E156BXXU6CYG5, while the Galaxy M33 is M336BUXXUCGYG1. This is just the beginning of the testing process, so users will have to wait a few more weeks for the official stable update to be released. In the meantime, the device will continue to use One UI 7.

Currently, Samsung's latest foldable devices, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, have officially hit the shelves with One UI 8 pre-installed. Customers who pre-ordered started receiving their orders last week. After the new Z series, the Galaxy S25 will be the next series to receive the stable One UI 8 update, after three beta versions have been deployed and a fourth beta is being prepared.

One UI 8 brings a series of notable improvements, such as a more flexible 90:10 split-screen interface, an integrated smart Now bar based on Android 16's Live Notifications API, new dynamic wallpapers, and many other improvements that promise to enhance the user experience.
