Following the rollout for the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S10 FE last week, Samsung is officially expanding its One UI 8.5 update to its older flagship and budget-friendly tablet lineups.

The premium Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra, released last year, have begun receiving the official software update in South Korea. Weighing in at a hefty 4.1 GB—depending on the specific device—this major upgrade carries a firmware version ending in DZE3. Meanwhile, in the budget segment, the Galaxy Tab A11+ is also getting a taste of the new software with firmware BZE8, and the standard Tab A11 is expected to follow suit in the coming days.

This latest update focuses heavily on visual optimization and daily touch responsiveness. Samsung has completely revamped the Quick Settings panel while refining the interfaces of familiar native apps like Phone, Camera, and My Files. The pill-shaped design language has been universally applied across navigation menus, creating a sleek, uncluttered aesthetic that perfectly utilizes the expansive real estate of tablet displays.

Eligible users in South Korea can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update, and tapping Download and install to let the system automatically fetch the data and reconfigure the platform.

If the current software distribution proceeds smoothly, the older flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series is highly likely to start receiving the update as early as next week.
