Samsung is officially expanding its One UI 8.5 Beta program, adding the Galaxy A35 to its early access roster. This makes it the second mid-range smartphone to receive the beta, following closely on the heels of the recently updated Galaxy A36.
Galaxy A35 users residing in India can now register for the beta, granting them a sneak peek at upcoming features and enhancements ahead of the stable release. However, much like the A36 rollout, this testing phase appears to be strictly limited to the Indian market, with no current signs of a broader global expansion.
For eligible users in India, joining the program is a straightforward process via the Samsung Members app. Once the rollout goes live, a registration banner will be prominently displayed on the app's homepage. After opting in, the device is officially enrolled, and the beta update will arrive shortly over-the-air (OTA).
To install the new firmware, users simply need to navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update prompt appears, confirm the installation and allow the device to reboot to experience the new One UI 8.5 environment.
As with any pre-release software, users should proceed with caution. Beta builds often harbor bugs and can negatively impact overall device performance or battery life. Backing up all essential data before initiating the update is strongly recommended to prevent potential data loss.
