Soon after the official announcement of One UI 8, Samsung quickly started updating the modules in the Good Lock toolkit to be compatible with the new software version based on Android 16. The two latest upgraded utilities are QuickStar and NavStar, which are now working stably on devices running One UI 8. Meanwhile, other modules such as NotiStar, Home Up, and Game Booster+ are still not supported.

QuickStar, one of the most popular modules in the Good Lock ecosystem, has been upgraded to version 9.0.00.01. This update not only adds compatibility with One UI 8 but also fixes some outstanding bugs, helping to improve stability. QuickStar allows users to customize the quick panel, change the layout, display icons, colors, and even system indicators.
Similarly, NavStar has also been updated to version 8.0.00.4. This is an update that ensures smooth operation on devices using One UI 8. Users can easily customize the navigation bar, including the back, home, and recent buttons. In addition, the NavStar user interface has also been improved, providing a more flexible personalized experience, especially for gesture navigation operations.

Although not all Good Lock modules support One UI 8, Samsung has continuously updated many utilities in recent weeks. Users can fully expect Home Up, Game Booster+, and other modules to be added to the compatibility in the near future.
To update QuickStar or NavStar to the latest version, users just need to go to Galaxy Store, select Menu, and then go to Update. In addition, it is also possible to update directly through the Good Lock application.
As for the official One UI 8 release schedule, the Galaxy S25 series is expected to receive the stable update in early August, or even earlier in July. Other eligible Galaxy models will also be updated in the final months of 2025.
