Samsung is moving quickly to ensure its broader foldable lineup is secure, now rolling out the February 2026 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4. The update addresses 37 known security vulnerabilities, boosting system protection and improving the stability of daily usage.
Currently, the rollout is underway in the South Korean market. The respective devices are receiving firmware versions F946NKSS6FZB2, F731NKSS6FZB2, F936NKSS7IZB2, and F721NKSS7IZB2.
Following Samsung's standard release pattern, the update begins in South Korea before expanding to other markets over the following days. Users outside of South Korea should expect to receive the over-the-air (OTA) notification soon.
To manually check for the update, users can navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Beyond security patches, all four of these foldable devices are slated to receive the major One UI 8.5 upgrade, based on Android 16 QPR2. Expected to arrive in the coming weeks, this substantial update will bring a new interface and further enhance the user experience across Samsung's foldable range.
