Samsung has just announced details of the November 2025 security patch, earlier than usual. This is an important update as the One UI 8.0 rollout is almost complete, and the company has started to resume the regular security update cycle for Galaxy devices.

According to official information, the November 2025 patch fixes 25 vulnerabilities in the Android operating system, including 2 critical bugs and 23 high-level bugs. One of the two critical bugs affects Android versions from Android 13 and above, while the other only appears on Android 16.

In parallel, Samsung also addressed 9 vulnerabilities in One UI, which only affect Galaxy devices. Additionally, the update also fixes 11 security flaws related to Exynos chips, which are used in many Galaxy devices and smartwatches manufactured between 2019 and 2024.

As of November 3, Samsung has not yet widely released the November 2025 security update to any devices. However, this is expected to change in the coming days. Devices on the monthly update list will be prioritized to receive it first, while models with quarterly or semi-annual updates may receive the patch along with the One UI 8.0 update.

Users can manually check by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install to see if their device is ready for the November 2025 patch.
