Samsung has officially completed the rollout of its stable One UI 8.5 update for all devices on its official support list. The South Korean tech giant began pushing the upgrade to older models last month, following a successful beta testing phase on the Galaxy S25 series late last year and the software's pre-installation on the flagship S26 lineup.
A total of 44 devices originally slated for the upgrade have now received the new interface. The entry-level Galaxy A15 marks the final smartphone to complete this massive update cycle.
The official roster of upgraded devices spans Samsung's major product lines:
-
Galaxy S Series: S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, S25 FE, S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, and S23 FE.
-
Galaxy Z Series: Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE, Z TriFold, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and the Special Edition Z Fold.
-
Galaxy Tab Series: Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10 FE, Tab S10 FE+, Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 FE, and Tab S9 FE+.
-
Galaxy A Series: A56, A55, A54, A36, A35, A34, A26, A25, A17, A16, and A15.
Beyond the initial roadmap, Samsung has generously expanded the software rollout to 10 additional devices. Users of the Galaxy A06, F06, F55, F56, M06, M16, M55, M55s, M56, and the rugged XCover 7 Pro have already begun receiving over-the-air (OTA) update notifications. Furthermore, the Galaxy F54—a device previously left unconfirmed for the upgrade—has also successfully received the new patch.
The company noted that the rollout is proceeding in phases based on geographic regions. Users in markets that have yet to receive the update can manually check for it via their device's Software Update settings menu over the coming weeks.
