Samsung is aggressively rolling out its One UI 8.5 update in the early days of June, shifting its focus to expanding the upgrade for its budget and mid-range device tiers.

The latest update wave is hitting 10 different smartphone models across the Galaxy A, M, and F series simultaneously. This lineup includes devices launched in 2024 alongside newer iterations:

  • Galaxy A06 5G

  • Galaxy M17, M17e, M35, and M55s

  • Galaxy F16, F17, F55, F56, and F70e

Currently, users in markets including South Korea, India, Brazil, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh are already receiving over-the-air (OTA) update notifications. Note that firmware build numbers will vary slightly depending on the specific model, region, and network carrier.

According to the company's roadmap, Samsung will gradually expand the deployment to additional markets over the coming weeks. Owners of the eligible devices listed above can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings, tapping Software update, and selecting Download and install.

Industry watchers note that Samsung's deployment speed for One UI 8.5 is significantly faster than in previous cycles, driven by simultaneous updates across multiple devices. If the tech giant maintains this current momentum, it could complete the rollout for the vast majority of eligible models by the end of this month.
