Samsung has confirmed that it will start rolling out the One UI 8 update in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. While there’s no official release date yet, a leaked schedule suggests a more specific timeframe: the update could start on September 18 and be rolled out gradually over the following weeks.
This list isn’t just for flagships, but also includes a number of Galaxy A models – from the newly launched Galaxy A56, A36, A26 to older devices. Here is the expected schedule:
- Galaxy A56 5G – 25/9
- Galaxy A36 5G – 25/9
- Galaxy A55 5G – 6/10
- Galaxy A54 5G – 13/10
- Galaxy A53 5G – 30/10
- Galaxy A52s 5G – 13/10
- Galaxy A35 5G – 30/10
- Galaxy A34 5G – 30/10
- Galaxy A33 5G – 30/10
- Galaxy A26 5G – 2/10
- Galaxy A25 5G – 16/10
- Galaxy A23 5G – 16/10
- Galaxy A17 5G – 2/10
- Galaxy A16 5G – 2/10
- Galaxy A15 5G – 20/10
- Galaxy A06 – 23/10
So if you’re using a Galaxy A56 or A36, it’s likely to receive One UI 8 this month.
It’s worth noting that the update schedule above was leaked from the Turkish market, but it usually coincides with the European roadmap. Compared to other regions, Europe is usually slower than Korea but faster than the US and Canada, so Galaxy A users can definitely expect to experience Android 16 with One UI 8 in the coming weeks.
