Samsung has officially expanded the One UI 8 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy S24 series beyond the Korean market. After being released a few days ago in its home country, the update is now available in Germany and is expected to be rolled out to many other countries this week.
Currently, One UI 8 is only available to those participating in the beta program, but it will be available soon for users who are not participating in the test. According to Samsung's official release roadmap, the rollout process may last until October to reach all markets.
Galaxy S24 users can check and install the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. For the smoothest upgrade process, Samsung also recommends preparing the device before updating.
One UI 8 brings many improvements to the interface, performance, and a series of new smart features. Users of other Galaxy devices can also check if their device is eligible for the One UI 8 upgrade.
