Samsung has just released the second beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S23 series, continuing its journey to perfect the software before the official release.

Previously, the One UI 8 Beta program opened to Galaxy S23 users earlier this month. Currently, One UI 8 Beta 2 is being deployed in Korea with firmware code S91xNKSU6ZYI5, and soon after that, it will also be available in India.

According to the accompanying notes, the update focuses mainly on bug fixes and improving system stability. Specifically:

  • Fixed the error of the device restarting automatically during use.
  • Fixed the error of DeX settings not being retained when upgrading via FOTA from a previous operating system version.
  • Fixed the error of the weather app on Galaxy Watch 7 not updating in real time.

Galaxy S23 users can upgrade to One UI 8 Beta 2 by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. This is an important step that helps Samsung get closer to the stable release of One UI 8 based on Android 16 in the near future.
