Samsung continues to accelerate the release of One UI 8 based on Android 16 for more devices. After the Galaxy A56, A36, A55, and A35 have been upgraded, now the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 have joined the list, showing that the rollout is getting faster and faster.
Currently, the update is first released in Korea with firmware code A546SKSUCEYI5 for Galaxy A54 and A346NKSUAEYI7 for Galaxy A34. In the coming days, Samsung will expand to other markets, and global users can start receiving download notifications. If you want to check manually, you can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
One UI 8 brings many notable improvements to the mid-range segment, including a more intuitive interface, an expanded Galaxy AI toolkit and upgraded system apps. In particular, Good Lock – a powerful customization tool that was previously limited to a few markets – is now more widely available.
In addition, the update also integrates the September 2025 security patch, making the Galaxy A54 and A34 more secure against new vulnerabilities. With the rapid update pace, it can be seen that Samsung is considering mid-range models as an important part of its software strategy, before continuing to expand One UI 8 to many other devices globally.
