Just days after launching its Android 17-based One UI 9.0 beta program, Samsung has swiftly rolled out its first hotfix for the Galaxy S26 series. While minor in size, the update is critical, addressing early teething problems for users testing the new operating system.

According to the tech giant, this patch zeroes in on a severe bug that severed mobile data connections across several carriers. Given the urgency of these network blackouts, Samsung fast-tracked the release to keep beta testers online and connected. The rollout is currently underway in the US market—carrying the firmware version S94xU1UEU2ZZEG and weighing in at roughly 523.48MB.

Because this cellular issue appears tied primarily to US domestic carriers, the hotfix will likely remain localized for now, unless similar bugs crop up internationally.

For Galaxy S26 owners already enrolled in the beta, grabbing this update is highly recommended to keep devices running smoothly. Users can manually check for the patch by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
