Evidence suggests Samsung Galaxy A55 is about to receive One UI 7 Beta

Samsung appears to be getting closer to rolling out the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy A55, the only mid-range phone eligible for the beta.

According to the latest information, Samsung has created a dedicated page for the Galaxy A55 One UI 7 beta program on the Indian community forum. This move suggests that the One UI 7 beta for the device is ready to launch in the near future. It is known that India could be the first market to roll out the beta, followed by South Korea and the UK.

The Galaxy A55 is the only mid-range device that Samsung has confirmed to receive the One UI 7 beta, along with more premium devices such as the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10. This has raised expectations for the new features that One UI 7 will bring.

It is expected that Galaxy A55 users will be able to sign up for the beta program via the Samsung Members app. If everything goes according to plan, the first beta update will be released next week, and the stable version will be released around May.

Meanwhile, in April, Samsung will prioritize the official One UI 7 update for high-end devices launched in the past two years. Specifically, the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 series will receive a stable update starting April 7.
