The wait is almost over. After Samsung confirmed that One UI 8 will be coming to the Galaxy Tab series from October, many people are still wondering when their devices will be upgraded. Recently, a leaked schedule has appeared, revealing specifically when the Galaxy Tab models will start receiving the update.
One UI 8 update schedule for Galaxy Tab
According to the source, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, S10+, and S10 will be the first devices to be upgraded from October 1. Next, on October 9, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S8 Lite models will be upgraded.
By mid-month, on October 13, the update will reach the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+, while the Galaxy Tab Active 5 series will be updated on October 16.
October 23 is a milestone, with a slew of high-end devices like the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, S9+, S9, Tab S8 Ultra, S8+, S8, and even the Tab S6 Lite all set to receive One UI 8. The schedule then wraps up with the Galaxy Tab A9 on November 5 and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro 5G on November 7.
This leak suggests that the One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy Tab will last until early November. However, it should be noted that the schedule comes from a third-party site, and it is primarily for the Turkish market. Typically, this region is similar to Europe, meaning that South Korea could get the update earlier, while the US could be a bit behind.
