The first software update is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S25

Samsung has just released the first software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, just a few days after their official global launch. These are the first devices to come pre-installed with One UI 7 based on Android 15, and this update brings the February 2025 security patch, which enhances safety and optimizes system performance.

Currently, this update has been deployed in South Korea, with the corresponding version numbers: S931NKSU1AYB3 (Galaxy S25), S936NKSU1AYB3 (Galaxy S25+), and S938NKSU1AYB3 (Galaxy S25 Ultra). In the near future, Samsung will expand this patch to other markets around the world.

The February 2025 patch does not add new features but focuses on improving system security, helping to protect users from security threats and potential vulnerabilities. Bug fixes in this update are integrated from Google and Samsung, ensuring the device operates more securely in the online environment.

In addition to security, the update also improves overall performance, making the Galaxy S25 run smoother, increasing system stability, and optimizing performance when in use. This helps the device respond faster, reduces lag, and improves the user experience in daily tasks.

Galaxy S25 users can check and download this update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
