Samsung seems to have completed the development of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series earlier than expected. A new update has just appeared on Samsung's servers, and it is worth noting that it no longer carries the beta designation as before. This shows that the software has reached a high level of stability and is likely the final build before the official release.

Specifically, the version for the Galaxy S25 Ultra has the code BYFB. In Samsung's firmware naming system, the letter B in this position shows that this is an official version. If it is still in the testing phase, the firmware code will start with the letter Z. Although Samsung has not confirmed that it will release this update immediately, it is clear that they have entered the final stage of completion. This is considered a nearly complete build, just waiting for approval before mass release.

Samsung is likely to release the official One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 next month, coinciding with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. This makes sense since One UI 8 isn't a major feature update, and the current betas have been working quite well.

Some features that Samsung previously announced are now present and working properly on this new update, such as the lock screen clock that can automatically change its shape based on the wallpaper, wallpaper suggestions from photos in the gallery, and live captions during voice calls.

We'll know more when Samsung officially announces it, but it's clear that the Galaxy S25 is getting very close to the final One UI 8. Stay tuned for more updates in the near future.
