With One UI 8 ready to launch, it seemed like the troubles from One UI 7 were over. But the reality showed the opposite. Recently, Samsung quietly withdrew the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A06, leaving users surprised and confused.

According to Akhilesh Kumar on the X platform, the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A06 has disappeared from Samsung's servers. This is a clear sign that the company has withdrawn it without making any official announcement. Thus, the Galaxy A06 continues to join the list of affected devices, alongside the Galaxy S24 and A36 before.

Previously, Samsung had to temporarily suspend the One UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 due to performance issues. The Galaxy A36 also encountered a similar situation. Now, the Galaxy A06 has become the next "victim", showing that the problems with One UI 7 have not been completely resolved.

It is possible that Samsung is gradually shifting its focus to One UI 8, which is expected to be officially launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July. This new version not only brings an improved interface but also integrates many advanced AI features, mainly for new foldable devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.

However, Galaxy A06 users are still waiting for a clear explanation from Samsung and hope that the update will be restored soon. SamCafe will continue to closely monitor developments related to One UI 7, and the latest information will be updated as soon as available.
