BARCELONA – Samsung Electronics announced that its ultra-thin, glasses-free 3D display, known as "Samsung Spatial Signage," secured a total of six awards at ISE 2026. The event, held in Barcelona from February 3-6, is recognized as Europe’s largest display technology exhibition. Among the accolades, the product earned the prestigious "Best of Show at ISE," a title reserved for the most impressive technological breakthroughs at the event.
The defining feature of Samsung Spatial Signage is its proprietary "3D Plate" technology. This innovation creates vivid three-dimensional effects without requiring users to wear special glasses or utilize bulky holographic boxes. Despite its slim form factor, the display maintains a sleek design while delivering a sense of depth that simulates physical space within the screen.
According to Samsung, this technology allows retailers, exhibition centers, and entertainment venues to showcase products—such as footwear, fashion items, or models—with a realistic 360-degree rotation effect. Crucially, standard 2D content remains sharp and clear. This dual capability significantly enhances the visual experience in commercial environments and product showcases.
The "Best of Show" awards are judged by leading audiovisual media outlets and magazines, evaluating entries based on performance, innovation, practical application, and creativity. Samsung Spatial Signage was honored across three specific categories: Digital Signage, Installation, and AV Technology.

Beyond the show floor, the product garnered recognition from major North American and British industry publications. Commercial Integrator & CE Pro awarded it the "Top New Technology Award," while Inavate Magazine named it the top "Digital Signage Technology."
Samsung also continued to demonstrate its dominance in the digital signage ecosystem. Its content management platform, VXT (Visual eXperience Transformation), and its AI-powered content creation tool, AI Studio, also won "Best of Show" honors. Additionally, the LED Signage Manager 2 installation tool received a "Top New Technology Award."
Market data from research firm Omdia projects the global digital signage market will reach $12.7 billion by 2029. Samsung remains the industry leader, holding a 36.2% market share by volume in the third quarter of 2025.
