Just months after its launch, the Galaxy S26 Ultra continues to sweep major industry awards for Samsung. Recently, leading consumer review organizations across the Benelux region unanimously crowned the flagship as the best smartphone currently on the market.

The device secured top marks from Belgium’s Testaankoop and the Dutch Consumers' Association (Consumentenbond). Earning an 8.6 out of 10 in the Netherlands and an 84 out of 100 in Belgium, the S26 Ultra comfortably clinched the coveted "Best in Test" title.

Adding to its accolades, renowned tech publication Tweakers honored the Galaxy S26 Ultra with an "Innovation Award" for its standout hardware advancements.

According to reviewers, Samsung’s latest flagship excels across the board in categories that matter most to consumers. Highlights include top-tier camera quality, extended battery life, robust performance, practical Galaxy AI features, and a highly refined software experience.

Drawing particular attention is the new "Privacy Display." This screen technology drastically limits side viewing angles, effectively shielding the user’s on-screen content from prying eyes.

Tweakers hailed this as one of the year’s most significant smartphone innovations, predicting it could soon become a new standard for future flagship devices.

"These results from independent review organizations are not only a testament to our engineering team but also reinforce our commitment to what users truly care about: performance, reliability, and privacy," said Willem Visser, CEO of Samsung Benelux.

Positioned as Samsung’s ultimate premium smartphone for 2026, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or the Exynos 2600, depending on the region. The device boasts an upgraded camera system and a suite of new AI capabilities integrated directly into One UI 8.5.
