Samsung has officially released the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A55 and A35 in India, marking a significant milestone as the new interface begins its global expansion.

The South Korean tech giant initially launched the first wave of the One UI 8.5 upgrade for these two mid-range smartphones in its home country. Following its arrival in India, the rollout will gradually expand to other regions in the coming days. Users currently enrolled in the Beta program can already download the official software version.

One UI 8.5 brings a major visual overhaul to Samsung's default apps. Several system applications have transitioned to a floating navigation bar, optimizing screen space. Buttons and settings menus have also been refined for a more unified, uncluttered, and aesthetically pleasing look.

The stock camera app has received a complete redesign to offer a more user-friendly experience. If users find certain advanced features missing after the upgrade, they can manually add them via the Camera Assistant module.

Additionally, the new update introduces smart connectivity tools, notably enhanced storage sharing. Users can now directly access all data stored on their phones from a Galaxy Tab or Galaxy Book using the My Files app. The new interface also brings various other engaging experiences, highlighted by a unique ambient design language.
