Samsung is officially rolling out its July 2026 security update for the Galaxy S25 lineup across the globe, bringing enhanced data protection to users.

Following an initial test run in its home market of South Korea, the latest software package has now landed in several Asian and European countries. The sweeping update covers all five models in the current flagship family: the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, and the more accessible S25 FE.

Under the hood, the update focuses on locking down the devices. It comprehensively patches 57 known security vulnerabilities from the previous build, mitigating the risk of unauthorized access while giving overall device performance a noticeable boost. Firmware versions for the standard, Plus, Ultra, and Edge models will end with the build number CZG3, while the FE version carries a BZG3 designation.

Galaxy S25 owners looking to manually secure their devices can do so right now. Simply navigate to the phone's Settings, tap Software Update, and select Download and install.

Industry watchers note that this patch lays vital system-level groundwork for Samsung’s premium devices. It serves as a stepping stone before the company launches its highly anticipated One UI 9.0 interface overhaul expected later this year.
