The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 8 are leading the pack as the first smartwatches to receive this latest update, which focuses on system optimization and enhanced security.

Users across South Korean tech forums have already confirmed receiving the new firmware. Specifically, the update package ends with the build number BZE1 for the Watch 7 and AZE1 for the Watch 8. Depending on the specific hardware model, the download size ranges from a modest 150 MB to 200 MB.

According to Samsung's release notes, the update bundles the May 2026 security patch. While it doesn't introduce sweeping UI changes or flashy new features, the firmware plays a vital role under the hood. It addresses lingering bugs, streamlines daily performance, and ensures smoother touch interactions on the watch face.
