Samsung has just released new updates for two of its popular apps, Good Lock and Home Up, to address bugs affecting Galaxy users' interface customization experience. These updates will soon be rolled out to all eligible devices globally in the coming weeks.

Good Lock is a powerful customization toolkit that helps users personalize almost every detail on Samsung phones, from the lock screen to the home interface, to notifications. However, some users have recently encountered a situation where modules are showing as being installed even though the process has completed, causing confusion when checking the status. Samsung said that version 3.0.14.2 of Good Lock fixes this bug, ensuring that modules display the correct installation status in the Plugins section.

Meanwhile, Home Up – part of the Good Lock ecosystem – offers a variety of home screen customization options, including folder effects, swipe gestures, edge panels, and especially the DIY Home feature, which allows users to arrange, move, and resize widgets flexibly. However, some users reported that widgets were displayed larger than usual, causing the screen layout to be unbalanced. With the Home Up 17.0.00.48 update, Samsung has fixed this issue, helping widgets display in the correct ratio and the screen look cleaner.

If you are also experiencing the above errors, just open the Galaxy Store, go to Menu > Update, and check if the latest version is available. The update size is quite small, and depending on the region, the patch may take a few days or weeks to appear on your device.
