As the tech world’s spotlight remains fixed on the impending Galaxy S26 series, Samsung is quietly gearing up to refresh its mid-range lineup. New leaks suggest the highly anticipated Galaxy A57 and A37 could hit the market as early as this March.

According to tipster Sanju Choudhary on X, the South Korean tech giant plans to unveil the two new Galaxy A-series devices next month. While a specific date remains under wraps, a late-March launch appears most likely. With the flagship S26 series slated for a February 25 release, Samsung is expected to create a strategic buffer between the events to maximize coverage and avoid overshadowing its own products.

This timeline represents a slight shift for the company. Last year, the A56 and A36 made their debut in the first week of March. The minor delay this year is likely a ripple effect of the S26 series' later-than-usual launch, which pushed the mid-range roadmap back by a few weeks.

Beyond the release window, the leak also shed light on what's under the hood for both devices.

The Galaxy A57 is rumored to feature a flat 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is the new Exynos 1680 chipset—a notable step up from the previous generation's 1580. Out of the box, it will run Android 16, backed by snappy UFS 3.1 storage and a robust 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

On the photography front, the A57 reportedly packs a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro lens. Selfies will be handled by a 12MP front-facing shooter. Design-wise, the device is expected to be remarkably sleek at just 6.9mm thick, weighing 182 grams, and boasts an IP68 rating for top-tier dust and water resistance.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 might actually outsize its sibling with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, also clocked at 120Hz. Under the hood, Samsung is reportedly swapping out the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 found in its predecessor for an in-house Exynos 1480 chip. Its camera array includes a large-sensor 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP macro lens, and a 12MP selfie camera.

Like the A57, the A37 is expected to draw power from a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, though its durability rating may be slightly lower at IP67.

If these leaks hold true, expect Samsung's promotional machine for the new A-series to kick into high gear shortly after the dust settles on its upcoming flagship launch.
