Samsung prepares to release One UI 7 Beta 4 update for Galaxy S24

After a long period of silence, it seems that Samsung is preparing to roll out One UI 7 Beta 4 to the Galaxy S24 series. A new test build with a version number ending in ZYB4 has just appeared on the software server, suggesting that the next beta update is very close.

One UI 7 Beta 4 update for Galaxy S24 is being tested

Samsung released Beta 3 on January 6, 2025, but since then, the company has remained silent, only confirming that the Beta program is still ongoing. Recently, some sources said that Beta 4 is planned, and the appearance of the new test build has somewhat confirmed this.

The One UI 7 Beta 4 update is expected to focus on bug fixes, especially the yellow tint on the screen when Color Optimization is enabled in Natural mode. This issue has been reported by many users in previous test versions. If this is the final Beta update, Samsung could be pushing ahead with the stable release for the entire Galaxy S24 lineup.

For the past four weeks, Samsung has been largely focused on the Galaxy S25 launch, from the Unpacked event on January 22 to the official launch on February 7. This has caused the software division to pause updates for older devices.

Now, Samsung has returned to finalizing One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 lineup. However, the Beta program is exclusive to the Galaxy S24 lineup, and older devices will likely have to wait until the official update is released.

With Beta 4 now here, Galaxy S24 users will likely have to wait at least a few more weeks before the stable One UI 7 is widely rolled out.
