PARIS — Samsung has officially unveiled a massive revamp of its Samsung Health app at the VivaTech 2026 conference in Paris. Deeply integrated into the upcoming One UI 9, the major update brings a sleek new interface and advanced, AI-driven data analytics to users' wrists.

The most obvious change is visual. The home screen has been streamlined into five core categories: Activity, Sleep, Vitals, Mindfulness, and Nutrition. This intuitive layout allows users to quickly check their daily health stats without digging through clunky menus.

Beyond a fresh coat of paint, the app packs a suite of new AI tools designed to elevate health monitoring. The system now analyzes five distinct biometric signals during sleep—heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen levels—to flag early signs of bodily changes. A standout addition is the new Cardiovascular Health Score, which synthesizes workout, sleep, and body composition data to provide a comprehensive, long-term picture of your circulatory health.

For fitness enthusiasts, the new Daily Cardio Load feature will measure cardiovascular stress, offering personalized recommendations for workout intensity and recovery times. The app also introduces automatic AGEs (advanced glycation end products) monitoring to track metabolic health, alongside a Hearing Health tool that analyzes environmental noise exposure to help protect your ears.

This upgrade marks a clear shift for Samsung Health: evolving from a passive data tracker into a proactive wellness assistant.

The new version is currently rolling out in a limited release for One UI 9 beta testers on the Galaxy S26 series in select markets. However, many of the most advanced features will require upgraded hardware and are expected to officially launch alongside the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 late this July.
