It looks like the rumors about Samsung rolling out a total of six beta updates are correct. Samsung is expected to release at least one more One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy S24 series before the official release.
Samsung recently announced that the official rollout of One UI 7 will begin on April 7. This means that the company still has time to complete its plan of releasing a total of six beta updates before rolling out the stable version.
The Galaxy S24 One UI 7 beta program is not over yet. According to tipster Tarun Vats, a new beta firmware with a ZYCC build has just appeared on Samsung's servers. This is the same source that revealed that Samsung plans to release six One UI 7 betas for the Galaxy S24 series.
The fifth beta update was released on March 17, bringing the Log video recording mode from the Galaxy S25 to the Galaxy S24 and S24+. The Galaxy S24 Ultra had previously received the feature with the fourth beta. The fifth beta also fixes the issue of the live media player widget not showing up in the Now Bar, among other bugs.
It's not yet certain whether the upcoming beta will be the final one, but it's likely that some bugs will be fixed before the stable version is released. Galaxy S24 users in select markets will start receiving the official One UI 7 update on April 7. However, other markets will have to wait a few more days or up to two weeks for the update.
Samsung will also roll out One UI 7 to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 next month, along with other premium devices launching in 2023 and 2024.
