Samsung is accelerating the rollout of the November 2025 security patch after a quiet first few weeks. After updating the new Galaxy S and Galaxy Z flagships, the company has expanded to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, adding the two 2023 foldable models to the list of devices receiving the latest update.

While Samsung typically releases security patches in the first week of each month, this month's schedule is slower than usual. Only a few older devices received the patch in the first half of the month, while recent flagships were left out of the list altogether.

This week, Samsung officially "opened the valve", simultaneously releasing new patches for the Galaxy S25, S24, S23, S22, FE and Edge versions. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Fold 6, and Flip 6 duo have also been updated. With the addition of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, nearly all eligible premium devices have received the November patch.

The update is now rolling out region-by-region, initially in Korea and some Asian markets. The new build for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is F946NKSS5FYK3, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is F731NKSS5FYK3.

If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5, check for the update notification or go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to install it manually. The November 2025 patch fixes more than 40 vulnerabilities related to the system, modem, Wi-Fi, and many other core components.
