Samsung’s mid-range lineup is about to get a refresh. The Galaxy A37 and A57, direct successors to last year’s A36 and A56, are expected to make their debut within the next month or two. As the unveiling draws closer, both devices have just been spotted on the Google Play Console supported devices list, all but confirming their existence.
According to the listing, the internal codenames have been identified as “a37x” for the Galaxy A37 and “a57x” for the Galaxy A57. While the Google Play Console entry doesn't give away the full spec sheet, it does confirm that Samsung plans to release multiple variants tailored for different global markets.
Specifically, the Galaxy A37 is listed with model numbers including SM-A3760, SM-A376B, SM-A376E, SM-A376U, SM-A376U1, and SM-A376W. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 appears with variants such as SM-A5760, SM-A576B, SM-A576Q, SM-A576U1, SM-A576W, and SM-A576Z. Notably, the "U1" suffix points to a US unlocked version, suggesting that both devices will see a broad release in the United States alongside other international regions.
Beyond the Google Play Console, the duo has previously appeared on other certification platforms, including Bluetooth SIG and the Geekbench database. Leaked CAD renders have also circulated recently, giving us a clear look at the expected design of these new mid-rangers.
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy A37 will continue to serve the standard mid-range segment, while the A57 is positioned as a premium mid-range, or "sub-flagship," device. Both phones are expected to ship with One UI 8.5 right out of the box.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A37 is likely to be powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset. The A57, on the other hand, is rumored to pack the more robust Exynos 1680. Design-wise, the A57 may feature slimmer bezels for a more premium look, whereas the A37 is expected to retain a design language similar to its predecessor.
