Hot on the heels of the rollout for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, Samsung has begun pushing the January 2026 security update to the Galaxy S24 FE. As is typical with Samsung’s software roadmap, the update is currently making its debut in South Korea.
According to reports, Galaxy S24 FE users in Korea are receiving the update with firmware version S721NKSS9CZA1. This latest patch addresses 55 security vulnerabilities, covering critical fixes for both the Android operating system and Samsung’s proprietary software components.
A global expansion to other markets is expected to follow within the coming days. Owners of the Galaxy S24 FE can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Looking ahead, the Galaxy S24 FE remains on the eligible list for the upcoming One UI 8.5 upgrade. This future software version, which promises significant interface tweaks and enhanced user experience, is slated for release on compatible devices following the launch of the Galaxy S26 series.
