Samsung is maintaining its aggressive software update schedule, officially rolling out the April 2026 security patch to the Galaxy A54. The popular mid-ranger is the latest addition to a rapidly growing list of devices receiving this month’s crucial security boost.

Currently live in South Korea with firmware version A546SKSSGEZC2, the update is expected to expand to international markets shortly. Users can check for availability by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

According to Samsung's release notes, the April 2026 patch delivers significant under-the-hood enhancements. It addresses 33 vulnerabilities within the Android OS—including 14 critical, 18 high-risk, and 1 moderate flaw. Furthermore, the update patches several chip-related issues and resolves bugs specific to Samsung's One UI, particularly those that could compromise user privacy and notifications.

Staying up to date is essential for keeping the device running smoothly and securely, especially as mobile security threats become increasingly sophisticated.

The Galaxy A54 isn't alone in this rollout. Samsung has recently pushed the new patch to the Galaxy A55, A56, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. They join an extensive lineup of premium devices that have already received the update, including the Galaxy S26, S25, S24, S23 series, and various other foldables.
